We’ve got some exciting news from our home in Ashbocking, Suffolk: we’ve just installed a whole load of new solar panels on site. Why? Because we’re pressing more juice than ever before – and we need the power to keep up.
This isn’t just about going green (though that’s still part of it). It’s about doing things smarter. Better. More efficiently. As demand for our natural juices keeps growing, we need to make sure we can keep delivering the quality and consistency you expect from us – without bottlenecks, without compromise.
So, we’ve taken a big step forward. Thanks to support and part-funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, via Mid Suffolk District Council, we’ve expanded our solar capacity. That means more of the energy we use comes straight from the Suffolk sun – powering our presses, bottling lines and everything in between.
“This funding has helped us invest in a smarter, more productive way of working,” says our Managing Director, Lawrence Mallinson. “It’s about futureproofing our site so we can keep doing what we do best – making bold, natural drinks – at the scale our customers need.”
We’ve been doing this for over 30 years now. Making drinks that taste like they should – real, honest, packed with flavour and made by people who care. Every bottle is still crafted on-site by our small, passionate team. And now, with the extra solar energy in place, we’ve got the power to do more of it – faster, cleaner and more reliably.
This upgrade isn’t just a win for us – it’s a win for our customers, our community, and the region too. It’s a sign of confidence in rural manufacturing and the kind of smart investment that keeps businesses like ours moving forward.
So next time you’re sipping a fiery Ginger Zinger or one of our Beetroot juices you’ll know there’s a bit more Suffolk sunshine behind it – quite literally.
And we’re just getting started.
