Beet It Expansion

Beet It Expansion

Our Suffolk-based beetroot juice press gets new storage facilities thanks to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Over the past 30 years, we have successfully developed and grown a distinguished portfolio of brands: James White for our English apple juices and organic range of fruit and vegetable juices that includes Beet It, the world’s leading beetroot juice and sports nutrition brand, Big Tom Europe’s leading spiced tomato juice, Thorncroft a range of Hedgerow inspired cordials and most recently our Zinger shots, the little drinks with a big Zing.

Inspired by the remarkable scale of on-going Beetroot juice research into the benefits of natural dietary nitrate, the market for our Beet It range continues to grow both in the UK and abroad. It is vital for us to continuously invest in our facilities to ensure we are able meet this increasing demand and stay competitive especially at this time of Brexit uncertainties. As currently the only UK manufacturer of beetroot juice, we are particularly determined to maintain our position as the UK’s leading beetroot juice brand.

Thanks to the support received from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, we have invested in a significantly expanded storage facility which will allow us to press and store much more beetroot juice for both our Beet It Organic and Beet It Sport ranges. In addition to bringing new jobs to the area this will also strengthen our partnership with the local East Anglian farmers from whom we buy most of our organic beetroots.
